Sorry for not posting any new deviations yet, guys...the internet seems fine but dA won't let me put anything up for some reason...a file 40.3 kb takes over 5 minutes to upload. And most of my pics are 100 kb or more. I waited 15 minutes last night and it still wasn't uploading...

Hmm...I'll do Rowan Black (from a story I've not yet named with Quill in it), Xenon Rybbod and Mida La'Vaye (from my energy crisis story), Galadae and Lew Merrosen (Galadae is my character and Lew is one of the protagonists from Arcamelion).

Rowan: *glares and looks haughty and uninterested*
Xenon: Hi. *sticks hands in pockets*
Mida: Hello! *waves nervously*
Galadae: Greetings, friend.
Lew: *smiles*

1) How Old Are You?

Rowan: I'm not yet 26. I was born in the year of the Wolf.
Xenon: 17, baby.
Mida: Me? Oh, I'm 17. A high school senior too.
Galadae: In human years I'm the equivalent of 20. In elven years...well, wouldn't you like to know? *laughs softly*
Lew: *clears throat* I--I'm 13.

2) Height? (by the English method, characters)

Rowan: This is wasting my time. (he's 6', more or less)
Xenon: 5'9". But I'm still growing. Somewhat. So keep short jokes to yourself.
Mida: *eyes Xenon* Short jokes? Okay. Haha. I'm 5'5 1/2".
Galadae: English system? What on earth... I'll have to ask Lew later... (she's a little less than 5'8")
Lew: I think I'm 5'3. I'm not exactly sure, I might have grown since they measured me last month.

3) You got any bad habits/faults?

Rowan: Perhaps I do. I often contemplate revenge for those who harmed me and my kin when I was young. But I see no trouble with that. Really, I'm not the only one who has such violent fantasies concerning those I hate.
Xenon: Faults? Nope, I'm good. *flashes a brilliant grin*
Mida: HA! Oh, right. You are so going down, buddy. You think you're such an angel, huh? Well, take it from me: You're the most obnoxious 17-year-old I know of! You act more like you're 15! You and your black leather and your buckles and boots! And not to mention that screamo music you listen to! What's more, you're a smart aleck, and you break things that aren't yours, and you tease me, and...and...and....
What? Huh? Oh, me. Faults? Well, I guess I can get kinda ticked off easily...and I sometimes get angry. But not much. *smiles sweetly*
Galadae: Well, I tend to blame myself. Like when my brother died...I knew I could've saved him. If I had been faster...I could have come to his aid! Oh dear, there I go. I should just be quiet.
Lew: I'm sometimes a pessimist. Or else just afraid of new and dangerous places.


4) You a virgin?

Rowan: I haven't had much time or thought for women lately. So yes.
Xenon: Yep. Sure.
Mida: *blushes* Of course.
Galadae: *smiles* Yes I am.
Lew: *turns bright red* Well, I should hope so! I'm only 13!!! What do you expect?!

5) Who's your Spouse?

Rowan: I have none. I don't have need of one yet either.
Xenon: I've not even graduated yet. You actually think I'd be married? *breaks out laughing*
Mida: I'm not married, no. Someday I will be though. At least I hope so.
Galadae: I don't have one as of now, but I will wed Andrameda a year from now. Or at least, when the time for all these battles is over.
Lew: Hahaha! Yuck. I don't even want to think about marriage.

6) Have Any Kids?

Rowan: No, of course not. *rolls eyes*
Xenon: None, duh.
Mida: No, but I'm sure when and if I get married I will. *sighs dreamily*
Galadae: When Andrameda and I wed I think we will. Eventually.
Lew: You've got to be kidding me...

7) Favorite Food?

Rowan: Venison, beef, mutton...I enjoy meat. Especially roasted with spices. Accompanied by good ale, of course. *smiles and licks lips*
Xenon: Ooh, food. I like food. Like, food in general. Except for liver paste and anchovies and stuff like that. But give me a good heaping plate of my mom's cooking... Wow. I'm hungry. *wipes drool that has begun to accumulate at the edges of his mouth*
Mida: Oh, I'd have to say...Those delicious pastries they sell down by the place where my dad works. They're so sweet and dripping with syrup and whipped cream... (Xenon: I'm surprised you stay so skinny if that's what you like to eat!) (Mida kicks him)
Galadae: Anything served at Brockholm (a famous inn). I love to drink blueberry cordial.
Lew: Pizza!!

8) Killed anyone?

Rowan: I am a knight after all, so doing battle for the king is my duty. Killing is part of the job.
Xenon: No, though I admit I'd like to give those idiot jocks at school a few punches. But not kill them. Oh, I've killed bugs before. Like, those awful cockroaches that got in my wardrobe.
Mida: Why would I do that?
Galadae: Goblins, other petty servants of the Shadowraiths. And I've helped my brother hunt before.
Lew: Nah.

9) Hate anyone?

Rowan: *grows silent and moodier than before* Oh yes. If you only knew what they'd done... *in a strained voice* If only Quill would let me get at them...!
Xenon: Orion.(an annoying classmate who always picks on him) He's a jerk.
Mida: There are...certain people *glances at Xenon*...that I find somewhat less tolerable. But no one I wish didn't exist or antyhing like that.
Galadae: Sythe and the Shadowraiths. They killed my brother.*clenches fist and looks dramatic*
Lew: No, not really.

10) Any Secrets?

Rowan: Why should I tell you? *folds arms* Fine, my conscience is a separate entity. His name is Quill.
Xenon: Nah...
Mida: *blushes* Well, I do, but I think most people have figured it out by now.
Galadae: No, nothing interesting.
Lew: Haha, this is silly school-girl talk. No I don't.

11) Love Anyone?

Rowan: Maralise. We're not related, but she's like my own sister. And I love my neighbor, I suppose...well, not love. I'm merely fond of him. He's a kind old man and has done me many a good turn.
Xenon: Well...my older brother Zeal. And I guess my parents. And... *glances at Mida and blushes*...yeah...I suppose that's about it...
Mida: Xenon, unfasten your jacket, you look like you're sweltering. Red face doesn't go with red hair. You really do look silly. *giggles* Um, I love my sister. And my mom. And my auntie too.
Oh, and...perhaps...Issachar. At least, I really love his eyes. They're gorgeous. *sighs*
Galadae: My father and mother, and Andrameda, of course. As well as many of my comrades from my homeland.
Lew: My aunt, uncle, cousins...especially Karis. She's awesome.

12) Ever slept in all day?

Rowan: No. Why would I do that?
Xenon: Ah, sure. It's amazing. My bed is so comfy. So is the couch. *yawns*
Mida: No! That's stupid. I'd be wasting time.
Galadae: Haha, maybe when I was younger, but now I often have things that need to be done, so I don't have such luxuries.
Lew: Maybe a few times. I do like to sleep in, but my aunt always makes sure I get up.

13) Eye colors?

Rowan: Look for yourself. *looks up, showing his slightly scary light green eyes*
Xenon: Greenish. I do have red hair, after all. That is the usual combination.
Mida: Bluish grey. But not as blue as Issachar's...
Galadae: My father says they're green, but most others say they look hazel. Andrameda says he thinks they're lovely. *smiles and laughs* But of course that's not really a colour.
Lew: Dark blue.

14) Hair?

Rowan: Pitch black.
Xenon: Flamin' red.
Mida: Just plain brown.
Galadae: Brown, though it's darker underneath and lighter on top.
Lew: Really dark brown.

15) Fat/Average/Slim?

Rowan: Rather tall and lean. But strong nonetheless.
Xenon: *shrugs* Kinda average. I hope to be totally ripped and buff someday.
Mida: *rolls eyes at Xenon* Like that's ever gonna happen. I'm kind of skinny-normal.
Galadae: Athletic. I do a lot of running, you know.
Lew: Quite skinny. Garett says if I eat enough I'll get big and strong like him. Sounds good to me.

16) Rain, sunshine?

Rowan: I don't care. (Though rain does make him look more moody and threatening. )
Xenon: Sun.
Mida: I like it when it's raining but the sun's still shining.
Galadae: Oh, I love rain. I could stand in it all day.
Lew: Sun, of course.

17) Pool, Beach?

Rowan: River.
Xenon: Pool. We don't really go to the beach much these days. There aren't many left here either.
Mida: I don't really care. I'm not much for swimming.
Galadae: I love the rocky beaches and the sea cliffs. For swimming though, I like lakes.
Lew: Beach!! Yay!

18) Camping, staying home?

Rowan: I camp a lot while serving my king. I need to move a lot. My home doesn't have much to hold my interest though.
Xenon: Staying home.
Mida: Oh, I like the city. But camping can be fun.
Galadae: I live near a forest, so I have no need to camp.
Lew: Camping's great!

19) Dog or Cat?

Rowan: I don't like pets of that sort. Except my horse. I suppose dogs are more useful.
Xenon: Oh, dogs. Definitely.
Mida: Cats! They're so cute and furry!
Galadae: I'm not sure. We have hounds, but I've never owned a cat so I wouldn't know.
Lew: Both. I love them.

20) Believe in aliens?

Rowan: Aliens? I don't know what you mean.
Xenon: Yeah, I do. Really. I saw a UFO once. I'm serious.
Mida: *sighs and shakes head at Xenon* I'm holding middle ground. I don't actually fully believe there are any, but I won't be that surprised if they exist.
Galadae: Oh, aliens, those from another distant land? They came over the sea centuries ago. I think they were killed off.
Lew: It would be cool if there were aliens. I think.

21) What do you do to relax?

Rowan: I walk in the field by my home. Sometimes I ride my horse.
Xenon: Kick back, blare my music, play my PSP, that type of thing.
Mida: Oh, I love listening to music. And daydreaming.
Galadae: I read, or walk around in the forest, or talk to my friends.
Lew: I just hang around with Karis. She's usually not a boring person.

22) Car or Ship...?

Rowan: What is a car? I prefer my horse or my own two legs.
Xenon: Ship? You mean, like, space-ship? Yes, definitely ship!
Mida: Car, I suppose.
Galadae: Ships are definitely good transport.
Lew: Cars. I get sea sick.

23) What is your job?

Rowan: I'm a knight.
Xenon: Studying.
Mida: I'm a student.
Galadae: I am a lookout and scout.
Lew: Well, I go to school... but I don't really have a job.

24) Any unusual things about you?

Rowan: I have elfin ears. I don't know how I got them. People say I'm a changeling. Perhaps they're right.
Xenon: My mom says it's weird that I wear leather all the time. Is that really weird though?
Mida: Yes, it is. There isn't much strange about me.
Galadae: I have a twin brother. Or should I say, had.
Lew: No.

25) Boy or girl?

Rowan: *raises eyebrow* Yes, I am a man.
Xenon: Duh, guy.
Mida: *giggles* You mean it isn't obvious enough with this skirt and my pigtails?
Galadae: I'm female, yes.
Lew: Boy.

26) Favorite Place?

Rowan: I don't have one. I like wandering.
Xenon: In my house.
Mida: I love my room. Except it gets really cold sometimes.
Galadae: The high tree tower. I have many good memories there.
Lew: Oh, somewhere where I can run around and have fun.


27) Last words?

Rowan: Goodbye. And enough with the questions.
Xenon: See ya! It's been fun.
Mida: Bye! Have a nice evening.
Galadae: Till we meet again. *smiles*
Lew: Well, good bye. I suppose I'll see you later then.
