Yay, 1st semester's done!

I've got an idea I need you guys' help on. I decided to try to draw some more challenging stuff over break. I mean, I love drawing faces and expressions and random characters, but I don't find that hard to do. I think I need some improvement in other areas. I'm especially thinking of action poses, pictures with more than two or three people interacting (as opposed to standing around), better BGs, architecture, maybe even a few animals. However, so far the only plans I have for drawings are something with Link, something with Ike from Brawl, and perhaps finishing up some of my FFVII fanart that's not done yet. Any suggestions are welcome! If you're stumped for ideas, try looking through my gallery and see what kind of art you think I should add.

So. As I was typing in my title to one of my new deviations and contemplating the latest chapter I'd read in Deathly Hallows, I realized that 'Slytherin' begins with the word 'sly.' (amazing breakthrough, no? ) Anyway. I then thought that this was because most Slytherins are, in fact, sly. And then I realized that it's because they are sly...therein.
I'm sorry.

Ahem.

I've been in a corny joke/bad pun mood for the past few days. Phew. It's probably a good thing break starts tomorrow...

During that time, not only is there Thanksgiving, but it turns out that my brother and Zack are done editing our movie. It's at least 45 mins long. I'm really excited to see how it turned out! And yes, I'll put it up on YouTube if I can, though it'll probably be awhile till that happens because I'll have to re-size the files.
I've also started two FF pics, but I never managed to finish either of them, so I may work on them over break and then post them when I get back. Maybe.

New month. Thanksgiving break is in 3 weeks. That means there's only a month and a half of the semester left.
But yes, I just got back from seeing my adviser and I've got all my classes for next semester scheduled. I'm pretty excited... I've got Bible, Humanities, Natural Science, P.E., English Composition, and Psychology.
I haven't done much art lately except for a few sketches during lectures and stuff. It's kind of sad. I'll definitely have to do a bunch during Christmas break.

I do need to go now. An essay needs writing.

Whee. I'll try to update reasonably now.

School's going pretty well. I'm on fall break now. Spending time with my family is fun. I've got a bit of a cold now, so I feel rather ill at the moment. I just hope I'm better when I go back on Tuesday. Everyone who's sick is sort of required to see the nurse and I sort of hope I can avoid it. I mean, it's just a cold. I feel weird going to a nurse for something that's so common and can be gotten over in a matter of days. However we all got an email saying that people on campus who'd had the flu did actually have H1N1. It's kind of weird. And I know my roommate caught something from her younger sister and then her whole family got it, so that means they all had swine flu too. So did our RA. At least no one died.

The past two weeks were extremely hectic. Mainly because of exams and papers. My roommate, friend Anna, and I stayed up past 2 a.m. two nights in a row writing due to a glitch in our comprehension of when assignments were due... *groan* but I think I got reasonable grades on my papers. So at least I know I can write ok when I'm tired. XD

I can't think of much else to write... I feel kind of groggy and tired, so I'm going to go now.
