Oh yeah! I think I've heard of this movie before, I remeber my old, old art teacher saying that it was a very artistic, theatrial film. I still haven't seen it though. So it's kind of like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon in that way, right?

The movie is set in China... I don't remember during which dynasty. Anyway, there's this warrior who has supposedly killed three deadly assassins. As his reward, the emperor invites him to dine with him and tell just how he killed his enemies.
As the warrior tells his tale, the emperor sees some faults with it, and it is discovered that the warrior is really not who he seems... The cool thing is, the story is told three times, but it's different each time because first it's what the warrior says (which isn't entirely true), then it's the emperor's perception of what happened, and finally it's what really occurred. I guess it could be confusing if you don't pay attention.
The colours are really gorgeous too. Each scene has some sort of theme colours, and it's so pretty.

Yeah, it's basically the same type of movie. Though it moved a bit slower than Crouching Tiger, I think.
